SweetDex™ Ingredients

RiceTrin®

RiceTrin® maltodextrins and syrup solids are low DE nutritive saccharides manufactured from the enzymatic conversion of whole-grain rice flour.
These specialty ingredients have a multitude of functional properties that can be utilized in a wide range of applications.

RiceTrin® 16

A non-sweet, nutritive saccharide that is manufactured from the partial enzymatic conversion of rice flour yielding an odorless white powder. RiceTrin® 16’s functional properties include low sweetness, binding capability, solubility, nonhygroscopic, crystal growth inhibition, low browning tendency, viscosity/bodying agent, freezing point control, low osmotic pressure and film forming properties.

RiceTrin® 35

A nutritive saccharide that is manufactured from the enzymatic conversion of rice flour yielding a low DE, moderately sweet, odorless white powder. RiceTrin® 35’s functional properties include good solubility, binding, low hygroscopicity, crystal growth inhibition, low browning tendency, viscosity/bodying agent, freezing point control, bulking agent and improves sheen and appearance.
