Integrating sustainable practices that limit our impact on the planet’s natural resources.
Consumers want healthy foods they can trust but they also want to understand where it is coming from and how it was made.
This new standard combines two of food industry’s most influential shifts–clean labels and transparency.
Sustainability is an important part of our business model. As a food company that supplies natural and organic ingredients made from raw material sourced directly from the farm, we realize the importance of limiting our impact on our natural resources.
We Realize Every Step We Make Takes a Toll on Our Planet.
Sustainability is an integral part of our business model. It is the capacity to endure today without impacting future generations’ ability to meet their own needs. As a food company that supplies natural and organic ingredients made from raw material sourced directly from the farm, we realize the importance of limiting our impact on our natural resources. Sweet Additions has developed a set of goals for our manufacturing facilities that include increase use of renewable energy, recycling, and improved efficiencies with existing use of energy, water and supplies.
Our environmental stewardship also goes beyond the manufacturing facilities. We have partnered with suppliers that share our business model. For example, all of our raw materials, cane, rice, oat and tapioca are sourced from farmers who are committed to sustainability. These grasses and grains are not genetically modified and a significant part is certified organic. Making choices like these protect our environment, the wildlife and its biodiversity.
